Christmas Worship

christmas season!

Hello Friends,

A lot of the Christmas Carols have great theology but I sometimes struggle with the reality that most carols are not very ‘vertical’ – singing ‘about’ God but not ‘to God’. And yet, we have to sing Carols between Thanksgiving and all through December, right? To help you and your congregation worship God during the Christmas season, I put together three distinct Christmas Worship sets taking traditional Christmas Carols and blending them with familiar, vertical choruses that keep the worship focused toward the Lord.

If you want some help in planning your Christmas services, I added some commentary like “Good morning, let’s stand together”, etc. Scripture verses, and commentary about ‘how to transition from a song to song smoothly’ – being mindful of themes, keys and tempos.

You might find that helpful, you might find it annoying 😉 that’s okay but it’s my attempt to coach you or walk you through “How I think about putting together a worship set list for the Christmas season”.
